Time to hit the beach!

I didn't want to miss the opportunity to attend a workshop with a group of really fun and inspiring photographers...baby on the way, or not! We shared ideas about the best way to light our subjects when shooting family portraits at the beach. As always, it was a blast, I learned a ton, and I just have to share a few images! Could this mom and daughter duo be any cuter?

This momma-to-be is GLOWING...

So, here I am editing images from Amy's maternity shoot, and I'm wondering how it's possible that the girl does not need to be airbrushed in the slightest. I mean, it's just not fair! Is it that good Portuguese skin, or the recent trip to the Bahamas that has got her looking so good? Well, I'm sure those two things don't hurt at all, but this woman is just radiant, and has got that momma-to-be glow! We had so much fun with this shoot, especially because there was a houseful of guys that were trying to bring the baby's furniture up to the nursery as we were ducking into the next bedroom until the coast was clear. : )

Estelle's 1st Birthday Shoot - It's Fun to be One!

What a cutie patootie...Estelle was an absolute angel, and quite the little ham at times, too!

It was a gorgeous spring day, so we started the shoot in Estelle's backyard, where she was experiencing grass between her toes for the first time this year...

We decided to do a messy cake shoot in celebration of her first birthday, and it was a hoot. I just hope the sugar shock wore off and she took a good nap for mommy and daddy that afternoon... : )
