The Blonde, Blue-eyed Boy...

Last Friday, I met up with adorable Ian for a little portrait session. We chose Milford Harbor as the setting, which was a very sentimental location - his parents had their wedding portraits taken there! Instantly, I fell in love with his big blue eyes, which look more like faceted sapphires...And he's got eyelashes that would make any woman jealous. I know I was!

Thank you, Nicole and Ian! This was a lot of fun for me...and I look forward to doing it again in the fall with the whole family.

Hannah + Cassidy, the Sweetest Sisters!

These two sisters were simply a pleasure to shoot. Hannah, who's almost 2, was exploring the sand, the water, and the driftwood, while her 12 year old sister, Cassidy, was either turning over rocks to find crabs or demonstrating her tumbling abilities! (Did I mention how impressed I was by your back tucks, Cassie? :)) So much to shoot, so little time! I had so much fun with these girls - take a look at some of the shots from our session on the beach!

Cousin Summer Fun!

When I think back to my fondest childhood memories, almost all of them include my cousins. We always spent a lot of time together over the summer, visiting each other's houses for sleepovers and camp-outs. We would also meet up at Grandma & Grandpa's house, run through the grass and just get silly!

This past week I had the opportunity to capture some of these same memories for the most beautiful family. Take a peek at all of the fun we had. Those sweet summer smiles are absolutely contagious!

Cherie & Courtney, a beautiful mother & daughter duo!

When Cherie asked me to take portraits for her book (see the Cherie's Movement post on the blog!), she mentioned that she would love to have a couple of photos of her daughter as well. Courtney joined her mother for a fun-filled photoshoot, and this sweet little girl even got a manicure for the occasion! Here are some of the great images we captured that afternoon.
